A Poem – The Travelling Life

Travelling is an opportunity to see past all hate
Simply by booking a holiday with a time and date
Looking for different cultures and lifestyles to appreciate
So that I can have happier and better memories to create
Escaping the London rush is a must
Seeing if I can catch the wanderlust
Feeling the winder wind in a scandinavian Stockholm
Rather than being trapped in the same old home
Time to ride on the roads and fly to the skies
Going beyond the lower atmospheric heights of flies
The new adventure out of your comfort zone is waiting
There’s no time to stand still and forever be contemplating
So lets grab the clothes and pack the suitcase
And not ponder if to underpack or overpack
Writing on the calendar to plan your freedom
Planning for the beginning of an explorative rollercoaster
Poetry is something I’ve always enjoyed since my teenage years and I’m glad I’m able to use this as a medium to combine the enjoyment for it with my passion for travelling and share with you all.
A bit late to the party but better late than never…..Happy New Year! I’m so looking forward to sharing my new adventures and experiences with a bigger audience and being able to interact with a lot of people. Stay tuned as always (by following me on Twitter or Instagram) especially with a new travel review set to come out next month from your very own and original – Travel Connoisseur 😉

What a great poem! Poetry is so therapeutic. I find it’s a great way to organise your thoughts xxx

It is. I think therapeutic is the best word to describe poetry tbh! Happy you enjoyed reading it
